Shangdong LXBIO was established in March 2020. It is a high-tech research and development company dedicated to innovation leadership. We have an excellent and experienced polymer team, focusing on challenging the world’s cutting-edge CO₂ synthesis plastic technology, industrialization, and applications.

Our company is located in Taixing, Jiangsu, China and has a 25,000 tons/year CO₂-based plastic PPC-P production facility. It employs the world’s first large-scale CO₂ synthesis plastic unit. The completion of this unit signifies a significant breakthrough for China in the industrialization of CO₂ synthesis plastic technology, a field at the forefront and highly popular globally. It fills an international gap and positions the company at a leading edge.

The technology was jointly developed by Sun Yat-sen University and LXBIO Technology, with complete intellectual property rights. It constitutes original technology and is considered a significant global breakthrough in original innovation. Currently, our company holds 50 related invention patents.

CO₂-based plastics exhibit excellent performance and are fully biodegradable. With large-scale production, the costs can even be lower than conventional plastics. These plastics represent a rare case of a “negative” carbon footprint material, offering significant ecological benefits. They are poised to become the mainstream plastics of the future.
